Буерак

A Russian sweet darkness from Novosbirisk. 

Is curious to talk about Буерак (Gully), not many Russian bands are highly listened in this side of the pond, but fortunately the internet is making the difference for these talented musicians. 

Буерак has a dark sound balancing it between the darkwave and dream pop, more close to the post-punk sound, i imagine these lads tried to emulate Joy Division or Bauhaus when they decided to set the band together. 

The first album i listened was Скромные Апартаменты (Modest Apartments) and i got hooked by its sweet sound reminding me a bit The Smiths' style, also i got curiosity by the fact that they sing in their mother tongue, Russian language is a bit hard if you are not into the Cyrillic alphabet, but i believe this lads can get you into the language once you start to listen to them. 

Скромные Апартаменты reflects the Russian life style, cold weather and dark atmospheres, Буерак could become one of the biggest indie bands in a near future if we pay enough attention to them, they have a bast selection of records, it's amazing how these lads have been playing since 2014!

The kind of place Буерак came from and sing about.
