Burning House

Angst, Fury and Romance.

Burning House is a band from Southampton, UK. they're noisy and chaotic style is marked by the influence of My Bloody Valentine and Swans. I think this is the reason they named themselves that way, because their sound reminds me the moment when a structure is collapsing during a fire.

Aaron (Guitar) , Patrick (Bass) and Ash (Drums) set their synchronised talent to create obscure atmospheres full of angst and fury. The Romance resides in their rhythm and voice, Aaron's vocals sounds distant and mysterious, almost like a ghost.

They have produced a Single called "If You Won't" in 2017, this single is an extraordinary fresh air hit, to be honest no band in 2017 had that sound in their first productions, but now they present to us a magnificent EP named "Tracer".

Tracer counts with four tracks, "Ripened", "Mercurial", "I am A Tree" and "Vague". All of them are ready to lead your playlist this season.

"Ripened" shows their destruction capability, with the voice of Aaron haunting the place, "Mercurial" es fast and furious, with an amazing work on drums, you need turn the volume on to enjoy the ride, "I am A Tree" is one of those alternative songs with powerful guitar and drums, the guitar break gives it a special taste, perfect for those rainy days of summer and "Vague, the longest ride on the issue, gives us a romantic feeling, those racks where you just move slowly to dance.

I believe "Tracer" is an excellent work, but this guys still have a long way to cross, time will tell when they hit the studio again to surprise us with their debut album. And shall say Burning House is the band you have to listen right now.

I give "Tracer" a 9/10 and "If You Won'" a 10/10 score. Also i will leave their links to acquire and stream their music via bandcamp.

I'd like to remark that Burning House is a totally Independent band that shares their works at Bandcamp, we have to give a chance to this platform to distribute music because this is the new tool for musicians and fans to know what's the score.
